what should I buy?? ;-) what would YOU buy??

I really need to replace my stock suspension components... they've got 80,000 miles on 'em...
now, I really love the height it sits at now (with the sag), and would NOT be able to have it any lower (thanks to my hooker LT headers)....
ideally, I'm looking for a spring drop of approx 1 inch (to sit at the same height as it is now.. probably sagging 1 inch)
at the same time, I want to put in great shocks... (money is an issue, however, if the top of the line shocks are MUCH better than midline, I would be willing to spend the extra)...

I'm also looking for all the other bolt-on suspension goodies...
(panhard rod, lower control arms, etc) and was thinking of going exculsively with Steve Spohn's stuff (spohn.net)... any reason not to??

I'm looking for a great street car.. I don't auto-x, but I LOVE to corner quickly, and I drive 40-50 miles a day, every day...
also, as you may have noticed, I'm quite inept technically.. I still can't do much work on my own, so I want stuff that'll last, or is easy to replace/adjust..
I've tried looking through the archive, but keep getting confliction info (progressive rate springs VS non, effect of lowering, etc..)
I really need someone to spell it out for me! ;-)

I would say Eibach pro-kit springs and bistien shocks. Although I just had them put on this weekend, I probably wouldn't be your best bet to listen to. After installing them, my car dropped about an inch. And the ride, well I couldn't believe it. I was expecting to have a headache from it being very stiff. But it really wasn't that bad. Also, I was thinking of getting kyb agx's, but thanks to the guys on here I didn't. And actually the bilsteins were cheaper that the agx's. I got them shipped to my door for $347 from shox.com. They come with a life time warrenty also in the papers that came with, they claim the shocks still have ~ 98% effeciency after 100,000 miles. And for me to get adjustables was out of the question. I didn't really want to spend the money, and I am not a proffesional racer, although shortly I will be getting into solo II racing. I figure if I had adj. I would be constantly fu(king w/them, and wouldn't get much track time. I hope these points help you out any.

I agree with Jack... or perhaps you can go with Strano.. I know he does autox..
