How to get the flywheel off!?

I am trying to get the flywheel off, but the thing keeps wating to turn, how does everyone get the thing off? Stick something in there?

I used an impact gun to remove the flywheel. If you don't have access to one, you can have someone hold the crankbolt at the front of the engine with a rachet. As your buddy holds the crank bolt that should allow you to loosen the flywheel bolts.

I did this on sunday. If the car is up on jackstands i.e. close to the ground you can use a few long ratchet extensions with a socket on the end. place the extensions perpendicular to the floor and have the socket catch one of the ears (where the PP bolts into) of the flywheel near the 9 o'clock position. That should hold it plenty when trying to remove the flywheel bolts. I had to use two 10" extensions and a deep well socket. I also had to use a breaker bar to get enough leverage to loosen the flywheel bolts.

I said forget the crazy stuff and went to borrow my dads impact, came off like gravy haha
