Lm?

Was wondering what you guys think about the LM. Im thinkign about getting them soon if u guys recommend any other catback let me know. Also If i get LM will that throw off any of the sensors on my car. bc right now for te last 8 monthes i have been running my car with cutout open. and i have had to get a new catalytic converter and O2 sensors. So im hoping that a new catback will stop all theses problems.
Let me know what u think
Thanks

I recommend the magnaflow...great performance, sound, looks, and price...I was impressed with the quality of the system. However, I don't know that it will remedy the problems you mentioned.

The LM reminds me of a redneck's truck w/burnt out glass packs.

Depends on how loud you like it and if you are getting headers or not...Personally I love my LM, but now I want LT's and so many people are saying they sound like crap with them and are loud. I kinda want a Magnaflow now.

Take it personal if you want. He asked for opinions and I gave mine. I've heard several and thats what they make me think of when people get on it. They are VERY raspy. I'm not the only one who thinks they sound like this. I like them with a bullet muffler instead of just a resonator, like the TSP Rumbler.

I'm running a 4" dual tailpipe Mufflex system w/a spintech muffler. Picked it up used w/low miles (about a year old) for $150. Purchase price and installation was less than yours and it'll outflow it and not make me deaf on road trips. Especially after I get headers. Talk smack about it all you want. BTW, there have been NO clearance issues either.

I just prefer a nice rumble over loud crackles.

Well I was just messin with ya a little Obvously a high HP-revving LS1 is'nt gonna sound like a mild old skool 350 with an exahust system that is nearly as old as I am. I wasn't going to rag on you even if you told me you had 6 cut-outs because you think they flow and sound better that way..... it's your car do what you want..... lol. So you have true 4" duals with 2 bullet mufflers ( basicly glass packs ) welded in?? Ummm hell yeah that is going to flow better than any system out there, but even guys with H/C cars don't even run dual 4" exahust(assuming thats what you have) Oh and I only paid $260 for mine but they sent me 2 systems and I sold the other one for $275.....you do the math

If you are planning on LT's do not the the LM unless you like it extremely load and raspy! That resonator doesn't do anything for you really. If you want a similar system go with a dyno mouth or I think the TSP Rumbler. They both seem basically the same and have a nice rumble and scream at WOT.

Sweet deal you got there. The Mufflex isn't true dual, its dual tail pipe. Still 4" looks like a bus' exhaust.
