Rearview courtsey light

Anyone know how to remove the bulbs from the courtsey lights in the rearview mirror? I tried to pull out the lens, but I think I just pushed it in too far and broke it.

The lens are kinda funky. I use a thin knife blade to pry out the side closest to the windshield. The lights are fused shaped and held in place by two clips. Just pop out and push in. The lens has to go in the way it came out (directional shaped). Also, there is a up and a down side, to the lens.
