Has anyone ever tried mounting one of those slim 10" electric fans to an ATI intercooler that is mounted under the car? These fans are about 2.5" thick and the big air scoop that comes with
the intercooler hangs down a lot lower than that.

 

I bought a 9.0x2.25 electric fan to do what you are doing. Then I sold the blower setup a couple weeks later so I never actully got it on there. I still have the fan if you hav'nt bought one yet.

 

Fans are a good idea but only while dyno tuning. The intercoolers get all the air they need when the car is moving.

 

Sorry, I wasn't clear enough. I meant using the fan instead of the big scoop.
