It takes half a second for my car to move off the line when I step on the gas, it takes an NHRA Dragster less time to jump off the line. NHRA/IHRA and all other pro organizations either it be NMCA, NMRA, or PRO run there professional classes on a .400 pro tree. I'm not sure where you got the .440 rt from, but I've never heard of that one. A pro tree lights all the yellows and then the green, either .5 or .4 seconds apart. A sportsman lights each yellow and the green .5 seconds apart. It is an IHRA sanction track and the run the 1/8 mile for the fast bracket and the 1/4 mile for the rest. The track after the 1/8 mile mark has small rises in the surface which make the front end seem like it is floating and they have grass inbetween the lanes. I have been there once and raced our car (brother took the day off) and I don't like the place and I would never go back, well maybe not never,:rolleyes: I would go there, only if it was the only track open in a 100 mile area.
