I got mine for 86 + 14 shipping from GM partsdirect.com. Its really easy to install, remove the the two pilars, that run along the sides of the windsheild. They are held on by metal clips. After thats out just pull the old dash cap out. Then just slide the new one in to place and and start pressing it down. It only goes in one way, and is held in with just a bunch of tabs. Then put the pillars back in and your done. You can do it in under 15 minutes easy. If I can do it, any one can.

I broke mine last night when I was changing the bulbs in my dash to red. I didn't remove the pillars because I couldnt see any screws. Thought If I started pulling on them I would break them. I got my rachet under that plastic piece and turned my head to grab a tool. CRACK The plastic that they use on the dash isn't very flexable. LOL I searched for how to disasemble the dash and couldn't find any. I thought I would be smart and figure it out as I went. I just missed that one step. lol oh well now I know. I was thinking that I could get one from a salvage yard for cheap I hope for less than $ 86 ( way less more like 30 to 50) Well glad to know I am not the only one who has broke that dang cheap plastic piece
