I have a pioneer in dash dvd player with two monitors in the visors i bought off the site. Does the wire that goes to the parking brake sense power with brake on or off, or does it complete a groung circut? Bottom line is I want to wire it to play all the time. Thanks for any help

Yes, the switch just completes a ground. Just ground out the wire before the switch and you will be fine. Thats what I did.

Don't mean to sound like a mustang owner (slow) but what you are saying is just run that wire to a ground and the player will work as if the emergency brake is on? Thanks for your help guys like you make being a part of this site fun and educational.

i have an indash screen and was wondering the same thing myself. i found it is just a ground. I just grounded mine along with the black wire that comes from the deck and everything was all good
