Any advice on running at the Glen?

I've signed up to do a two day open track at Watkins Glen, May 3 and 4 through SCDA.
Car should be prepped to handle it by then, fresh brakes and R3S03s.
Any advice on what to watch for there?

The "beach" outside Turn 1 (The Ninety).

Many of the best have visited it. The most exciting I ever saw was Jimmie Johnson in a Busch car with a stuck throttle "hit the beach" at about 150 +. He skipped like a flat stone on a pond and used the tirewall + Armco to stop.

You'll probably use up the tires in two days.

Good luck!
