I hear that the $30 autozone rotors work good too.

(but what do I know, I bought Eradispeeds for mine...)

stock replacement rotors will work for most people's purposes... if you autoX you might wanna look into something better

as for pads.. i love my EBC greenstuff pads. but they arent cheap ( 96$ for the fronts IIRC) they dont squeak a bit (made of kevlar) and they stop quickly and no brake dust

you might wanna check out crapozones ceramic pads, ive actually heard good stuff about them and they arent to expensive

dont even bother, they're $hitty Thankfully they only need to hold me over till I get some c/d slotted rotors and much better pads.

I'm not sure about how those pads are on cars, but I have a set on our cherokee (mostly because of the "pad wears out, bring it in and swap for a new set" policy)... So far I've been using them about 2-3years. The benefit of those is that they take heat pretty good (ceramic, of course they should).

That being said, the whole rotor/pad setup I'm replacing the ones on my Mustang with is running me almost $600, thats cross drilled Brembo rotors, and Ferrodo pads, all around (Ferrodo/Brembo pads are Italian and also used by a lot of Ferrari owners I've talked to, seem to be amazing pads with a good heat range).

If you're going to go with rotors stay away from the ones that are "cross drilled and slotted" go with one or the other. If you plan on a lot of track time, go wtih the slotted, the drilled will crack with lots of continuous(sp?) track time.

If you want to go all out, get a StopTech kit
