autox and road race set-up

OK, I know it has been said(I'm sure),but I want to run autox and road race and want to know what kind of set-up.My car is all stock, right down to the 245 tires.Even if it is overkill for a newbie,I want to get the best(affordable)so I onley make the perchase once.Street quality isn't that much of a issue,I'll sac that for the fun!!!

I'd recommend you do what you can within F-stock rules so you can stay in a really competitve autocross class. That would include the shocks and sway bar you mentioned in the other post. After that, you probably want to look at brakes, especially for the track days. Buy a rotor and aggressive pad combo you can swap in at track days.

After you get some events in on street tires, then it's time to go tire shopping!
