88 harnes and ECU in an 85.

So my 85 camaro harnes and sensors got butned up in the shop fire and I need a nother one.
My junk yard back home just got an 88 5-speed camaro in (That fly wheel in that thing is mine!).
I was looking at thirdgen.com and found that the 85 ECU's are barely a calculator even by 1885 standards. The 85 ECU cycles not even 1 time a second. 86 and up cycle 16 times a second.
Between 85 and 88 engine and body wire schemadics I can't find much difference.
I don't care about the ignition differences because I'll have a MSD ignition.
I know in a lot of cases you can swap ECU's with out much problem.
I will need sensors wiring harnes and all from the 88.
So what do you think?
What differences do you know of?
