Spectators are allowed at the Hot Rod drags.
Well today the question was answered.
Spectators are allowed on the Saturday until 3:30 for free at the track. After that they will have to pay for the normal running event.

April 30, 2004 tech is held at comp cams in Memphis Tenn.
May 1st, 2004 50 bad pumpgas machines roll out of the overnite impound/lockdown at Com Camps, head to Memphis Motorsports park in Mellington Tenn.
short cool down followed by three single passes, the ten Fastest are "THE MAN!"

April 29th is the normal test n tune nite at Memphis Motorsports Park . Word has it many of the 50 cars are showing up for that and the "afterhour" unoffical/ offical cuise nite location on Thursday nite thats being worked out right now. friday nite after tech another offical unoffical cruise in

I've had many more emails with questions that I have not been able to
resolve yet as I've been out on jury duty. I'll get to those as soon as I
can and reply to the entire group of Pump Gas Drags participants.
However, I do have answers to the two most prevalent questions:
1) Will spectators be allowed at Memphis Motorsports Park for the PGDs? Yes.
This event will not be advertised to the public, but racers and fans will be
allowed free entry to the dragstrip on Saturday for the Pump Gas Drags
competition. However, all Pump Gas Drags racers and spectators need to leave
the track by 3:30, then pay to get back in if they wish to attend the
bracket race that night.
2) What about a cruise night? HOT ROD will be in attendance at the Memphis
Motorsports Park test-and-tune night on Thursday April 29th, and we suspect
that lots of PGD participants will be there flogging. The track owner can
also sign off an NHRA license that night for any of you who need one. On
Friday night all the PGD cars will be impounded at Comp Cams, but there will
probably be a cruise night for all the other cars that will be in town for
the event. This is still being arranged through Comp Cams and the American
Muscle Car Club of Olive Branch, MS, which will be helping out with both the
cruise night and the PGD event. More details to come.

Dave you are in, I have one more opening, wil have to see who else is interested. i know people who want to go, but i am sure schedules for families come into play.

I'm definitly in I'll be driving up with my wife so we may have room for 2 more people if I don't take the Trans Am. We need to put some miles on the wives car so we'll probably take the Alero.
I could use some hotel info and convoy details when they become available. Oh and I'll be going up on the thurs. and returning sun.
