chroming wheels

he guys i got an 01 TA with factory 17 alloy wheels. Wondering if it would be cheaper to just get factory wheels chromed rather than going out and buying a new set. If so where would i go to get wheels chromed. I live in the DFW area. thanks for your help.

17 inch wheel prices hae dropped recently, you can get a good set of polished billet or cast wheels for 700 to 800 now. Check Ebay. It would cost you about that to chrome your 4 wheels you have now. I would go with a set of Boyd Coddington Smoothie II's , they look great on a car like yours.

I would buy and mount the 4 custom ones in 17 x 9.5 and then sell your stockers on Ebay.

These are 8 inches wide but usually you can get these Ebay guys to sell you the same wheel in 9.5 wide for usually about 10 to 20 dollars higher per wheel.
