OK, color me misinformed, but I was under the impression (until about 6pm tonight) that Firebird seats would fit in my Camaro. Now, while they might "fit", none of the power hookups look like they will go anywhere.
I got a set of '99 Firebird leather seats. Only the driver's side is 6-way power, but both have power lumbar adjustments. The kicker is, there is a 6-prong plug on these seats and I have no idea what this would go to. Also, I only got one lumbar pump (attached to the passenger seat bottom). Is that all there is supposed to be? It seems like I'm probably missing some hardware, but I have no way of really knowing. If there is only one pump, then shouldn't there be a connecting hose from the passenger's to the driver's bolster?
Anyway, if anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated. I can post high-quality pics of what I have if it would help. I guess I'm really asking for the Firebird guys to step up here, or anyone who has put power Firebird seats into their previously manual-seated Camaro.
Any and all help is appreciated.
Thanks!
Edit: Would this post be better placed in the LT1 Tech section? Brent, I'll leave it up to you, I don't want to be a post whore ;)
