The shop where I had my tint removed used simple green concentrate. Just let it sit for a little bit and use a hard piece of plastic to scrape it off. Using a razor may cut your defroster lines.

It's a water based glue, so you want to use water, or a water based cleaner. Soapy water will cling to the window and soften the glue. Use a cloth (not paper) rag that can be thrown out later.

You'll only need the razor to lift a corner of the tint film so you can peel it off.

I had a white Monte Carlo SS I bought that came with 2 HEAVY coats of tint on it. It took a whole Saturday to do it but I used a blow drier to get the glass hot and the film peeled right off. It left a "frosty glass" look of the glue left behind. I used WD-40 and paper towels to get the rest off. I did used a glass razor scraper on the side windows to get the BIG chunks of glue off, the WD-40 soaaked paper towels to get the lasst of the glue off down to clean glass. It looked like a new car when I was done. No scratches or anything.
