Post 93-96 guys with 97+ consoles, what did you do about filling the gap?

Hey guys, I got a 99 console for my 95. What did you use to brace it in the front so it doesn't wiggle, and what did you go about the hideous gap? I contemplated going back but after 2 days of having 3 extra cup holders that actually work, a nice console lid, a real leather shifter boot, a change holder AND 2 power outlets, I've decided to keep the 99 console. Now what to do about that gap? Thanks guys!

What gap? Oh sorry , you have a camaro. My TA
fit nice, But I did get the 2000 mount also, I removed the old one, a real pleasure,NOT,
and put in the new one. Made a Y for the power outlets, and LOVE the ability to shift and have my pepsi in the "pass" holder.

As for the gap I heard a stang console has a piece that fits good.
