Hollowed out Cat for 3.4 For Sale

I'm selling my Hollowed out Cat. It will bolt right into a 3.4 camaro or bird. I figured i would post hear before going to ebay. I will send you pics if your really intrested. the Heat sheild is a little banged up, but it won't make a difference because its hollow anyway. Make me an offer for it. You send me an email at Firebird1SZ@yahoo.com if your intrested.

whats the point in a holowed out cat? Just better flow? Does it keep the backpressure on the engine. I was told the 3.4 needs a little backpressure to run right?

The 3.4 does need some back pressure, i think the muffler shoud offer enough restriction. Honestly the main point is probably sound on the 6 cyl, it will change the exhaust note dramatically. Besides for the most part if you have a 6 cyl getting serious perfomance is pretty much ruled out anyway. Honestly i dont have any flow numbers to show the pros or cons of the issue either way, especially on a 6 cyl. the point is i have a hollowed out cat and if somebody wants it cheap, than i'll be happy it will be out of the garage.
