FHP selling out.

My dad got hit yesterday afternoon leaving the house. He's alright, the Z go's to darby buick today. Anyways, The FHP showed up in the FHP camaro and started shooting the **** about the cops car. He also said that in 2005 they will be switching over to the new Mustangs. Should look intresting. But here's the good news about the whole thing. Get readyfor cheep LS1 cars at the FHP auctions. O' YA!

That's pretty weird. Ford must have offered the FHP a killer deal on those new Mustangs to get rid of the B4Cs so quickly.

There's no doubt Chevy knows how to make a stout police cruiser, which is why many agencies still use the Caprices which have to be about 10 yrs. old. I'm sure the current B4Cs are serving them well too, just makes me wonder why they'd want to get rid of them so quickly.

depending how much they go for woudl be a great project car

pfft... as bad as those cars are they were at least well maintained. And a beat but well maintained car will do some nice things...

besides, if I were to get one, I woudl assume the tranny on its way out and consider 6-speed swap.

I drove past a newly retired FHP Camaro the other day on 441 in Zellwood. Somebody turned left in front of him and the cop T boned them. It was smashed real good.

You can bet he got a few nice tickets. There were about 15 FHP cars a couple news vans and people standing all over the place.

If chepa enough I jsut may keep my current car till it dies, and have a retired FHP car to play with

I beat my car every day...I'm still sure you'd want it though. J/K

I'd definitely rock one of those cars though. Wonder if you have to take the FHP paint job off?

Thing is I woudl trust a beat, well maintained stock car over a modded, not sure if it was well maintained, not sure how it was beat.

If I bought one of the FHP cars, I would almost assume the tranny is done, maybe a little weary of the rear, right off the back, other stuff for the most part should be somewhat ok...
