What parts do I need to change when I lower my car?I heard its not good for your susp
I heard that lowering your car puts strain on your suspension and that you need to change out stuff. Is this true? I also heard you need a backend alignment. Any help is appreciated.thanks!
nah, I dropped mine via Granatelli springs and had the front end aligned. Thats all I changed. Ride's nice and handles great. Can't ask for much more

Yeah, I am planning to sometime and you dont really have to change anything, but its alot better to. Get a adjustable panhard rod, and if you just want looks you dont have to get the relocation brackets for the lower control arms but if you plan on hooking up at all you should get them. I think thats it.
As far as being bad for your car, only if speed bumps are common around your area
. The only parts you will NEED to change are obviously your springs, and add an adjustable panhard bar. With this, you will be able to drive your car, along with a front end alignment. You need no alignment in the back, the adjustable panhard bar takes care of that. You don't necessarily need to add relocation brackets, depending on what you are using the car for, if you drag it a lot, it would be a good idea, if you autocross, there not necessary. If you look in my sig, I'm going to be adding them, but I got mine off a friend for a really really good deal, figured why not!
Most people tend to change there shocks, seeing as you have to take them off along with the springs anyway, but it is certainly not necessary.
That is pretty much every thing you would need to know, hope this helps. If you have any further questions, you should give Sam Strano Jr. a call ( 814-849-3417). Sam is pretty much one of the best in the business when it comes to suspension, he helped me establish my entire set up based on my driving style, future plans, state I live in, conditions of the rode, etc. He is generally in from 12:30-8:00.
Good luck
