Post C5 front brake upgrade for 4th gens still in stock.

Just a reminder, I still have 11 sets of these in stock now.

Extensive info and pictures available at: http://www.nashvillespeed.com/Fbody/...s/brakekit.htm

RCS-001 Bracket set only $249 plus shipping (we provide a GM parts list so you can source your own parts)
RCS-002 Brackets and complete GM parts kit $825 SHIPPED!

These 1/2 inch thick caliper adapter brackets allow you to use 12.8" x 1.25" C5 Corvette rotors and the PBR-made C5 front calipers on any 93-02 F-body. Comes complete with driver's and passenger's side brackets high strength bolts (12.9 metric property class wheel bearing bolts, 10.9 property class pad abutment bracket mounting bolts), complete list of GM parts needed to complete installation, and thorough instructions. Total weight of installed components is equal to the components that are removed from the 93-97's, 25lbs. This brake system requires 17” wheels. E-mail me if you have any questions.

The complete kit comes with a set of Z06 pads (other pads are available, too) and your choice of caliper color (standard C5 grey or Z06 red powdercoated) and all required bolts, hoses, etc. to complete the install.

These brakes are on my 1996 WS6 and I continue to be impressed with them. RCS-002 is a complete package with all required GM parts and the bracket set, $825 shipped. Installation is identical to the Baer GTP (which also uses the C5 caliper) system and requires cutting off the "ears" from the LT1 spindles. LS1 spindles will also require some cutting, but a much smaller piece is removed. Please use the Wheel Fitment Template at the above link to verify caliper to rim clearance. All OEM 17" wheels should fit, please verify fit on ALL wheels before ordering and definitely before cutting your spindles!!!!

These brackets are manufactured to incredibly tight tolerances and quality checked before they are allowed to be sold. What this means is that these brackets are precise...they locate the caliper precisely and therefore the pad is perfectly situated on the rotor. The bracket will not rotate due to slack in the bolt holes and the ½ inch thickness means reduced vibration and even further mounting rigidity...and increased peace of mind.

Advantages of this system over popular name brand brake systems are both initial cost of the entire setup, and replacement cost of the component parts. And for the road-racers out there, there are over 21 different pads available through various aftermarket companies for this caliper.

To order, go to www.nashvillespeed.com and choose the online order form from the left-hand menu.
