NXL "NEW" Direct Port System.....ISSUES????

I've heard of some issues with this kit...
Seems as if people are having LEAN issues due to JETTING Problems thus far...

Anyone else been hearing anything about how well these systems are performing...

Any kinks still being worked out?

I'd love to have one for my LT-1 383 when I'm sure they're A.O.K.

I wouldn't recommend the NXL kit to anybody until NX reworks it a little. There is a huge lean spike when you first hit it. Apparently it is sucking the rails dry for a split second which is causing the spike. NX is supposed to have a fix for the problem but it is not out yet. From personal experience they aren't producing the advertised horsepower show on their jetting charts. NX has been no help to me on my kit. I suggest getting their MAF kit. It is probably the best LS1 kit on the market.

I've been thinking about Direct Port for some time...the 383 LT1 all forged engine is starving for more... :D

I like the idea of plug and play if and only if they can make a consistent system... thanks for the heads up...hopefully they'll work out the BUGS soon!!!

IS THE MAF SYSTEM AS GOOD ON AN LT1 AS IT IS ON THE LS1?

I think they'll get it sorted out in time. NX is a great company which makes very high quality products. I've been using their products for years and this is the first piece I have had problems with.
