I don't think I'd base my opinions on a future vehicle because one guy who's not too up on the car world saw a car that might be something. Kinda vauge if ya ask me. I don't expect the next Impala to be a 4-door version of the Corvette but more of what we have today. Chevy sells lots of them so no use in changing the winning formula.

1) Why does an Impala need to be 'racy'... it's a family hauler, but most people don't want to accept that, I think.

2) While I suppose it is possible, I find it odd that GM would be driving a totally uncammo'd, next-gen Impala around town, complete with Impala badgework to boot.

3) Finally, I have a hard time believing that any sort or circle-taillamp theme is not there, since Chevrolet is spreading this theme to every car they make...

Not nessesarily true. The Cobalt sedan has wrap around trail lenses while the coupe has the (more stylish?) quad ruond lamps. That might be the family styling theme of future Chevys.

Not true.

Look here:

http://www.chevrolet.com/cobalt/gallery.htm

Picture number 4 shows Cobalt Sedan's rear taillight. The inner lenses are circular, not unlike TrailBlazer, Impala, Malibu, Monte Carlo or others...

Ah. Then I revise my arguement. The sedan has wrap around outer lenses where as the coupe has four seperate ones.

That I agree on... but the circular theme is there... it is something that will almost certainly be a Chevrolet trademark for at least the near future... the down side is that it seems most every car company is using a circle theme to their taillights these days.
