Somone interested in my 96Z, fair price??

The car is a 1996 Z28, 60k miles, 6 speed, every option except Ttops and traction control. MINT condition, garage kept. Only thing "wrong" with the car is a 0.3 inch surface scratch on the right rear fender, and a 1 inch surface scratch on the rear bumper. No dents. Interior is also mint. Oil changed every 3k miles with mobil one.

Mods include:
-NX nitrous express system(set for 100 shots), window switch, tr6 plugs, accell 375 ignition, taylor wires, NX switch panel in ashtray, bottle heater, dual purge
-mcleoud street twin clutch assembly,
-160 degree thermo
-BMR tubular subframe connectors
-BMR Boxed LCA's
-poly mounts
-as&m coated headers,
-random tech dualcat ypipe,
-flowmaster catback with welded polished stock tips,
-LPE cold air induction system
-scanmaster LT1 mounted in center AC vent
-dual guage pod with A/F and oil temp guages
-profesionally applied 30th anniv stripes(don't like them, they are vinyl, peal them right off)
-17" zr1 wheels with brand new tires all around, 315's rear, 275's front
-little things like airfoil, hpp+ included, viper 800esp alarm system, shaved side moldings, shaved badges, orange camaro inserts in rear, 1LE elbow, shiftlight on pillar, grant evolution shift ****, painted hugger orange calipers with camaro decals. Car also comes with a set of MT et drag slicks mounted on spare salad shooters. Some pics show z06 style badges, they were test fitted, not installed. Never ran the car with 100 shot at the track yet, but safe to say it's a solid mid-low 12 second ride. 13.4 motor, with a 2.2 60'. Also, car dynoed #'s in the sig, this was a one time deal with the kit jetted for 150 shot hit. Never ran the car with the 150 shot jetting.

Also, if you'd like to see the car in action, here is a 35 meg music vid of the car

What do you think is "fair" deal for this car???

Looks very nice, if I was looking to buy, I'd say 6500 since it looks well maintained.

Man, I know someone that would definitely want this car. I need to seriously know how much you want for it. I'm going to look at a '97 Z this weekend for him that he wants to buy but your car is much nicer. I need to know what you want so I can steer him away from this other car. He has cash in hand.

I'm not in a rush to sell the car, I'm just testing the market, thats what the main point of the post was. If the car is only worth 7G's in the market, I'd keep it. It has a place in the garage and I probably right now wouldn't consider anything less then 10g's. I know thats prob high, the retail on a mint stock 96Z is 8g's KBB. I know mods don't make the car worth more, but this thing has a NEW street twin(2 months old) that costs 1G by itself, all new tires that cost $600, and all mods expertly installed with all the nitrous express goodoes valued at over 1500k. The coated headers and ypipe brand new your looking at $1500 for just that.

I totally understand what you're saying. I think I'd let my SS go for $70,000 if someone offered it to me and not a penny less.
