Oh yea! This is on a LS1. From everyone I talked to it seems to be the same thing on an LT1 as a LS1. Just want to check it out. I plan on doing it sometime over the winter.

Check out this link:

you could do it to both sides actually and I know of one car that has....an LS1 car but still, same principle, in essence you hide the wires that run over the shock tower area along the front fenders, you do this by drilling a hole and lengthening the wires and then running them on the underside of the strut tower between the body and the inner fender well lining and then you bolt the lining in place, it leaves you with a wireless bay on the outside edges

Fuel line is the biggest eyesore on the drivers side.

With some patience and rerouting through the loom, you can also run it along the inside frame rail and up under the A/C unit and not cut anything.

Dark Angel - I'd be interested in hearing a bit more about this, are you talking about running it inside the frame rail? or along the side of it?

There's no way running it beside the frame rail will work with some longtubes, or at least not with my longtubes lol

I meant along side. Don't have longtubes, so I don't know. I also have the AIR pipers removed.

IMO, that's got to be one of the dumbest mods, spend all that time and effort and chance screwing your car up just to hide a few wires, Personally I like seeing all the wires under the hood, it shows off all the car's technology. and that's where they belong. It looks so crappy when people restore the old junk cars from the 70's and under the hood all you see is an engine, it looks so dumb and cheap, it's like they think their cars are so great, but why does only have half the stuff under the hood?

well you know that's fair enough I suppose, but the general thought amont hotrooders is that a nice smooth appearance is preferable to one that isn't, and from my expierence everyone can appreciate the smooth apperance of anything whether it be a woman or a car. So the motivation behind it is to smooth things out to make it more visually apealing to the eye and for one to be able to appreciate more what is right there instead of the other things that clutter up the lines and curves.
