ST swaybars

How much harsher is the ride?
Does the rear give as much of a gain
as the front and how does it effect ride quality
also.

How long/hard was the install

I just put in my ST swaybar about a week ago.

It took about an hour to put in. Easy install. I did it with the front wheels on ramps.

The front bar is MUCH more of an improvement than the rear. I don't have the rear bar, but from what I've heard, the rear bar could produce significant oversteer, which I DON'T want. Oversteer is scary, especially at high speeds.

My ride quality did not feel any more harsh. The bar doesn't really make the bumps hit harder. It seemed to me that many of the bumps were even better, if that's possible. Train tracks were one example. You notice that the front of the car is much more controlled though, even just pulling out of the driveway. The ride didn't get any softer though, just much better(controlled).

The cornering with this bar is awesome. I love the feel of so much less body roll. This is the best money I've spent yet.

Get the front bar first, and put it on with the stock rear bar. Then, if you can decide if you need a rear bar (you probably won't). I don't plan on getting a rear bar after driving with the front ST bar.

How much noise did the front add.
Do these wear out your tires or shocks faster?

I have the front and rear installed and the car handles like a dream.

Mine should be in via UPS tomorrow :metal: and I can't wait to install it! So it can be installed just pulling the car up on ramps? Great, even less time to install, no jacking!

There is no increase in noise, very little increase in harshness, improved tire wear, improved steering response, improved cornering speeds, simple install etc, etc, etc.

It is the SINGLE BIGGEST improvement you can make to your suspension. Hands down.

Just got my ST 35mm bar in today :D. My pass side factory end link had rusted together and the impact wasn't even breaking it loose, had to break out the ol' cutting wheel to cut the bastard off. Should have been about a 30-45 min install took about 1 1/2 hours thanks to this link. However I got it on right before I had to go to work, so didnt get to test any turns really. Waiting to get off work to go try it out and SNOW!! :mad: Now I have to wait for the snow to stop tomorrow, then for the roads to dry :cry: . On the way to work I did notice MUCH better steering response and front end stability, especially over imperfections in the road. Wait 3 weeks for this to come in, then can't even go out and try it out. :(

Does anyone replace the bushings while doing this upgrade?

They come with all poly bushings and new endlinks.

There is a delay for a couple of reasons. The biggest being that before I started selling this bar a lot, not many were ever sold. I'm very aware that lots of folks have gone other places to buy this bar, even though I was the one who figured out how to make it work. ST's sales of the 35mm front bar have more than tripled across all the vendors since I started using this bar a lot, which continually puts them behind. Also ST ran their inventory down to about nothing to move a warehouse a few months back, and that has put them behind as well. Mostly, in this market you find a lot of vendors not stocking what they used to because frankly it's a lot of money sitting on shelves with the hope someone will buy. And things are a bit slow all over the aftermarket (though most won't admit it, ego I guess). As such you find people not wanting to carry any more stock than they absolutely need too.
