Pampered-Z 06-23-2002, 10:58 PM The new suspenion should be ready. If it is then I'm there, but the only thing I'm hoping is the dang clutch will last through the day and ride home! http://web.camaross.com/bb/redface.gif
ElevensOrBust 06-24-2002, 01:24 PM Hopin' to make it down. I'm in the process of "legalizing" the car. I've had the battery in the trunk since '97 and E-town actually checked for the first time a few weeks ago. So in went the Moroso Blue Box and the Flaming River switch. I just need to run a cable from the alternator to the switch so that it cuts the motor.
Hopefully the weather will be MUCH better than today.

GREGG 97Z 06-24-2002, 01:54 PM Don't think I'll be able to make it this Saturday, I'm going down on Thursday to help Kazman out at the GMHTP event. My wife is due with our first July 13th and I've got to get some things done around the house before then. She is pretty understanding but I don't think I can get away with going to E-town 3 times in one week......nag nag nag! http://web.camaross.com/bb/rolleyes.gif http://web.camaross.com/bb/biggrin.gif

No problemo, we'll will catch up for the F-Body Nationals on July 20th, or Maple Grove July 27th. Somewhere, for sure. http://web.camaross.com/bb/biggrin.gif
Take care of Mommy and let's us know of the good news...

E-town gates open at 9am.
Event is from 11am - 3pm for Time Trials and Racing.
Weather will be better than it has this past week....
Jeff H 06-28-2002, 10:24 AM I might stop by to watch you guys race like usual. Should I run my broken turbo Toyota 4Runner? I'm thinking low 20's if I'm lucky. Imagine all the guys red lighting because I get a 6-7 second head start.

97TransAm 06-28-2002, 10:42 AM Hey, Jeff, if you run that Toy 4Runner, I want a piece of that action. I like to see what those 9 sec'ers see when they run down my 14.2 at the line.... http://web.camaross.com/bb/biggrin.gif http://web.camaross.com/bb/biggrin.gif
kazman 06-28-2002, 02:14 PM Due to my POS ET's I won't be there. Best I could do yesterday was 14.0. The FLP LT,s with the Grantelli MAS lean the car way out.
I'm probably getting false knock too due to the additional noise from the headers and RR's. Pulling the computer tonight and shipping it to Ed Wright. I lost .5 installing LT's. Most negative bang for the buck.

97TransAm 06-28-2002, 05:52 PM Dang, bummer, dude. I will miss meeting up with ya. I guess I'll catch up with you on July 20th for the F-body Nationals at E-town and or the following week at The Grove.
Good luck for a speedy repair...

ElevensOrBust 07-02-2002, 12:52 PM Odd quirks with the rules. I won 3 of the 4 round and the won I lost, I beat the guy off the tree by .08 and was only .03 off my dial-in. He's .07 quicker than his dial-in and wins. WTF? I went to the tower to get a clarification and basically your considered right on anywhere from your dial-in to .08 seconds quicker. And too boot his win was by .007 seconds (a 16 second Mustang, no less).
But in the 4th round I easily took out a Cobra that had gone 3-0 to that point. Put the sucka on a trailer !!!!
Needless to say, I'm looking forward to the High-Tech Day and East Coast Nats when the rules are normal again.

97TransAm 07-02-2002, 12:56 PM We were given two time trial, four races.
I ended up with three wins. http://web.camaross.com/bb/biggrin.gif
I have to be quiet now until the 20th at E-town, for the F-Body day, which is the same day of Super Chevy Show at The Grove.
Pampered-Z 07-02-2002, 04:38 PM Another 3 out 4 here too. I was 3-0, then in the 4th round I rolled the beams to foul out!
The 13th is the GMHTP shootout. Who's going?

GREGG 97Z 07-02-2002, 04:43 PM I really wanted to go to the GM shoot out on the 13th but that's my wifes due date http://web.camaross.com/bb/eek.gif I probably should stick around the house that day in case she needs a ride somewhere http://web.camaross.com/bb/biggrin.gif

For me it's Carol side family reunion and if I don't go... it will be ugly. Last year I showed up late after spending the day at an E-Town Trophy Marathon and winning three races. So I'll be a good boy this year and go to the reunion. http://web.camaross.com/bb/frown.gif

Tango Two 07-02-2002, 06:29 PM Pampered Z,
Who did you lose to in that 4th Round?
Maybe the other car was intimidating?
I won just 1 out of 4, but at least I beat the one car you lost to. (Too bad it was in time trials tho!)

Ron, you better be a good boy or back in the basement. http://web.camaross.com/bb/tongue.gif Things are looking better for me, computer will be back tommorrow and the new driveshaft should be here by Friday morning. Transmission mount has already been replaced. See ya on the 20th at the E-town F-body Nats and at the Grove on the 29th for Pontiac Day. I might even have the car ready for points this weekend. http://web.camaross.com/bb/smile.gif

Ohhh noooo... he lost to that idiot from Pennsyl-tucky with the 97TA plates. He cut a good light so I think PamperedZ readied himself for an airlift holeshot. But John has a real car with real horsepower and the tremedous horeses under the hood made the car tremble so, that the brakes could barely restrain the vehicle this side of the light... http://web.camaross.com/bb/eek.gif Needless to say, that twenty second head start the 97TA had quickly evaporated when PamperedZ blast past way before the finish line. http://web.camaross.com/bb/eek.gif
Well I'm ready to finish the drywall in the basement this weekend. Thank Gawd! Then it's the spackling n sanding. Somewhere between that and the E-town July 20th, I have to figure out how to wrangle that Darn 90 degree rubber tube on the passenger side off the throttle body. Wanted to do the TB bypass. Can't get to the clamps correctly. Drivin' me nuts... well, I mean, more so than I already am.
Happy Fourth and JD(Jack Daniels)Fifth's to all of yous.

The other guy simply cheated! His car was so
clean and polished to a dazzling shine. The sun's reflection blinded me so I couldn't see the tree come down.
Nah,,, I just had a brain fart at the starting line http://web.camaross.com/bb/rolleyes.gif
