Welcome to the board.

You might want to start off with a little bit less controversial topic, though... This thread might not last too long...

My parents went out to dinner, I snuck out my dad's 94 3.4L Waaay back when it was his car. Jsut screwing around in the 5-speed, raced a VR6 Jetta a few times were neck and neck but I pulled slightly at the tp of 2nd gear each time, 3rd race, we take off I have him by about a carlentght, he is 1.5 lenghts behind me....

Then there is a spec of light off my rearview apparently a cop was behind me at the last stoplight I launched at saw the entire thing, pulled me over called over about 3-4 other cop cars, lights all going, my car pulled over just outside my housing complex, I was outside the car with my hands on the hatch, they were lecturing me, I was begging for a speeding ticket, not to get arrested.

They held me for about 20-30 minutes, then let me go.... no ticket, nothing I was in shock

what it was to be under 18 and stupid, and cops satisfied I was scared enough stupid, and under 18 and throroughly scared....

Or another time, I was racing a mid 80s 300Z, when my car woudl go into 2nd gear maybe 30% of the time.

We raced, from a roll, starting in 2nd I pulled on him, he was saying his car was faster I knew I woudl slaughter him from a stop.

At the light, launch I have a car lenght at the top of 1st, slam 2nd, bark the tires, take off pulling harder now, slam into 3rd.... then a car pulls out from a cross street into my lane, I slam the brakes let off, and swerve over to the next lane, and swerve around the car...

If the 300z was abotu .4 seconds faster, I woudl have either drilled the car in front of me, or him. No room to come from a stop I was probably doing 85ish...

So for the most part I keep street racing to a minimum but a few race4s here and there, not like when I lived in ft. lauserdale and NO track for like 1.5 hours, and just drive out at night and find someone to race jsut for ****s and giggles.

I had just had my big block put in my 85Z and I was taking it for a spin when two young guys pulled up to me in a turbo eclipse.. they both looked over at me.. sitting in my High Performance Creme colored redneck mobile and laughed. Light went green and they nailed it.. I gave it a little throttle and kept up with them.. we made it through the intersection and I looked over at his passenger and waved "Bye Bye" and nailed it. The back end fishtailed and then I was GONE. I got to the next light and just sat there waiting for them.. they pulled up and rolled down thier window his passenger yelled "What the hell have you got.. (pause) **** listen to that thing!" I grinned and said, "It's just a stock 305!"

Next one.. It was 1993, I was cruising down State Street on my Kawasaki ZX-11 at the time it was the baddest bike you could get.. coming the opposite direction I see some wierd headlights and a motorcycle.. as they flew past it was a Viper RT/10 absolutly raping a Harley. I flipped around and caught up to the Harley at the next light.. the Viper was another light ahead.. normally Harley guys won't even acknowledge us bullet bikers but this guy sees me and yells "GO GET THAT F'er!!!" I saluted him with two fingers and nailed it.. the Viper was just driving normal so I easily caught up to him... we both pulled up to the light.. I looked down into thier car and there sat a middleaged driver and a young young woman. I blipped the throttle and he looked over.. then lean forward and read the ZX-11 emblem.. he shook his head No.. I yelled over "Come on!" he yells back, "I used to have a ZX-10.. I KNOW what you will do to me!"

My most memorable one was the first time I beat my buddies Supra. He had previously walked me every time we ran, but then I put the heads/cam/tune on the car and we ran again. This time I jumped him as usual from a 55 roll while he was spooling up, but I kept pulling! I put about three cars on him from that roll on. It was very nice.

I did enjoy beating a stock '95 Z28 from 10-90 by about two cars.

Bench racing doesn't solve sh*t. Run 'em.

All right, time to post mine.

I was in my '95z28, and this was before the hotcam - had just headers and exhaust.

I had a friend at the time who was "pro-import", and owned a '98 integra GSR. Not a bad car, but he always talked about american cars like they were inferior.

Anyway, my other friend has a 2000 Camaro SS, 6 speed. Ah, can you see where this is going?

All 3 of us met late one night at denny's, then drove back in our cars. I was driving in the left lane, with my friend in the SS following behind me. My integra friend, as usual, was gunning it and showing off, and was driving about 5-6 carlengths ahead of me. The right lane was empty.

So, light ahead turns yellow, and I come to a stop, with the integra to my right stopped. I wanted to tell my friend in the SS to cut to the rightmost lane, so we could 3-way race. As I looked in the mirror, I already saw him cutting over to that lane, haha.

I looked over at the 'teg, revved my engine, and he kind of smiled and shook his head "no". I couldn't see my friend in the SS ('teg was blocking most of it), but I heard him rev in response.

Light turns green, and "chirp!", went the 'teg, he did about a 6k clutch dump I think. He took off, and I didn't expect it. I mashed the gas, and spun kinda badly, but as soon as I got tracion, the integra started reeling in real fast. Right as I passed him, I looked over to him to wave.. and right as I pass the integra, I see the bright red SS side by side next to me passing the integra with me. We ran our cars equally up to about 75, then let off the gas, with about 6-7 carlengths on the integra. We both had huge grins on our faces.

Haha, greatest kill ever!

I remember all of them, but the one I think back to the most was against a M6 LS1 Trans Am. Ran him several times from stops and rolls. Beat him every time, by 100-120 I had a car on him.

Most memorable was probably last year when I took a '01/02 Lightning from a light. We cat and dogged it for a while before we got a light together, exchanged nods, and went from green. Somehow, someway, I was able to beat him. I took him off the line BAD, but he started pulling real hard, until his nose was at my door, thats about where he evened out, and we layed off a little later.

My most memorable race awas against a 350KR Roush Mustang suprisingly I beat this 54K low 12second car...when I was holding back.... Amazed at why I beat the car so easily I turned over a few rocks and asked questions about it. I actually went as far as going to the only Ford Dealer in my state that has a Roush Liscenes....amazingly the guy told me that he sold the 350KR I was talking about to some old guy. He knew the 350KR I raced. Told me it was just a pumped up poser GT.....what a waste of gas that was.
