selling the car (hopefully) 383 th400 goes 2
hello peeps long time no chat for me anyway..........for those who know me and those who dont i might be selling my z this weekend so...everything that i have accumilated has to go also.......i was in the middle of biulding a 383 with afr 210's.....4 bolt splayed caps.
forged eagle crank
manley 6" rods
forged 11.8.1 je pistons
ati superdampner
b+m flexplate
canton oil pan w/ pickup
manley timing chain
manley head bolts
lt-4 intake
tci competition series manual valve body th-400 (SOLD)
new bearings
manley oil pump shaft
manley oil pump stud
canton oil filter adapter
i am letting all this go to buy a boat......everything is brand new most of it still in bags and boxes, nothing has any time on it except for the block of course........if there is anyone interested email me anotherzfan@aol.com i would like to sell the kit complete as short block or long block.......assembly is also balanced, machine work is also done on the block.....this kit is ready to go together NOW!.......just need cam and lifters

as far as the engine there is 1 guy that has first dibs.........if he dont come through i will contact everyone that has emailed me...........thanks......i will know by sunday whats up

allright guys.......short block is up....i didnt hear anything from the guy with first dibs......so.....i would like to sell this thing locally and not part out.......short block incudes everything in my list except for the heads and intake........i would like 4500 bucks...everything is new...i think it's a good deal and is ready to go together..........shoot me a email let me know if ur interested....thanks Rich Smith.......

A few questions about your shortblock:
1. Does it come with piston rings? If so, what type?
2. Can you give me the part number of the pistons?
3. Would it be possible to rebalance the assembly with a steel flywheel and different pistons? I hear balancing some eagle products can be difficult.

1/ yes they do come with rings i think they are file fit.....
2/ i would have to get the part# off the pistons to make sure but they are part #867-13808
3/you would have to ask a machine shop about rebalancing for the steel flyweel....but i'm sure it wouldn't be a problem.......
if you are considering this set up i will get the part #'s off of the pistons and rings just to be sure......
why do you want to run differant pistons?? supercharger?..... you can also call me ....302-420-5609
