Question What's the best time of the year to buy a WS.6

I'm thinking about buying a WS.6 again (was for a while last spring and kinda lost intrest). I'm on a limited budget and the most I can pull off spending is about $13-14K so I'll probably be looking for a 98-00 with around 70K miles. What's the best time of year to buy? I was thinking around January to February but thought I'd ask those of you who know better than I do. Thanks.

I've noticed lately that the prices stay about the same all year round now... atleast where I am. But as they always say.. there is no better time than the present!

I'm not super famliar with Ark climate but
people/dealers are more willing to deal in the
winter months than the spring/summer inpulse
buyers. For 13-14 you'll get something really decent
and a lot less than 70K.
It's also always better to go to any dealer as close
to the end of the month as possible.

Thanks, I guess I'll start really looking when I go home for Christmas break (I'm off at college) and maybe look into buying between Christmas and New Years. Just curious, but why are dealers more willing to deal at the end of the month? Any more input will be greatly appreciated.

most dealers have quotas to meet by the end of the month, so if they have had a rough month, they're more willing to nogotiate. Also, Christmas is a good time to buy a car, cause its a VERY slow month for dealerships due to people buying Christmas gifts and not cars!

Listen to her. Get out there and find a WS6 now and start haggleing that price. Here in Chicago I found December & January to be very good months for getting deals. In February you got people who did rapid refunds out there car shopping so do it before then. Go out on December 23 in a snow storm to a car dealership and they will fall over themselves to sell you a car.

Good luck. And remember if you have a hard time finding a decent WS6 you can always get a regular TA or Formula and add the aftermarket RA hood for $485 plus painting.

Good Luck

yea around here it seems they deal more when in the winter months (i got 800-1000 lowered on mine)
also, i think the dealership has got to pay a fee or something to keep it on their lot for another month or something, not sure
someone correct me if i'm wrong, i just heard that somewhere
so, yea i'd say go at the end of the month in december

I've never heard anything like that but
Since these are used that wouldn't apply anyway,
however the longer they hold on to it the
more times they have to pay someone to clean it,
advertise it, have money tied up in it, take up space
etc....
A good deales works more on volume than high profit.
They buy and sell quickly as opposed to waiting for top
dollar and not selling as much.
