Talking GM 350 HO vs. LT1

Had a little run in with an LT1 Z yesterday. He was behind me acting an a$$ so I thought " why not".... The trucked in front of me turned, I went down to second, and mashed it. Now I know I got the jump on him and was already infront of him, but he faded back. I know he was on it because his front would jump everytime he shifted. Not sure what year it was, but he had some gawdy wheels (18" probably) on it. I let off at about 100 and he stayed at bay until he had to turn.

Hopefully I will get my superram will come in soon....

Thumbs up

He faded about two cars back then held.....Just so everyone knows, I saw the Z turn on behind me from a side road, so it was a Z28. The crate is a TPI'ed 350 HO Crate from Scoggin Dickey with all of the usual mods. Headers, AFPR, Fastchip eprom, Airfoil, TB bypass etc. etc. etc.

Thanks for the reply also

Thanks my man....I ordered the lights off of ebay. I originally wanted to go with the red (KITT), but decided on the amber ones (KARR). The ASCD hood comes functional but it is a different typa of design. Instead of having the holes cut out in the back (you can get that done too by the way), it comes with two 3" holes on each side underneath the front of the hood. These holes conduct air from the ram air inlet on the hood. Thats why the lights can be put in there. It probably works better with the cut outs, but the MAF is a pain to try to adapt. I have thought of the ATI procharger in the future, but money is not right as of this moment (Christmas and such). Looking forward to my Superram though...cannot wait!!!!
