Center Force pressure plate with some other disk?

I was wandering of its possible to use athe center force duel friction pressure plate with a differnt companys clutch disk? And if so what would be a good disk to buy, till I get enough cash saved for a McCleod street twin? Thanks

I've had good luck doing it so far. Your main concern is that the pressure plate isn't warped at all, otherwise you will get some chattering. Have it checked, and if it's fine then go for it.

I had a local clutch shop build me up a prototype of theirs that they came up with for the LT1 and it has never slipped.

Good to hear, would anyone happen to know a good brand of disk to use with the Center force D/F pressure plate? Thanks for the info.

I'am running a mcleod disk not the street twin with my centerforce df pp. I got it from thunder racing, it was about $150 and it's good for 7000rpm. I hav'nt had it to the track but it is holding up to street use. It's just a cheap bandade until I get a street twin this winter

Thats pretty much what Im looking for right now, just a bandade. But its looking like I might have to drop the motor out of my car anyway for a bearing replacement so I wont be needing to drive it anyway.
