Spend $$$ on my 99 T/A or just get a ZO6

I'm looking to race at every PDA(performance drivers association) event next year but I'm not sure if I should spend the money on my current car or just get a 02 ZO6. My car (99 T/A) currently puts down 400rwhp and has great potential.I was thinking of installing LG's bilst. coil over kit, sway bars, willwood front brake kit and slp sub frame conn.(which I already have). Will my T/A be comprable to a ZO6? or should I just sell the T/A and just get a ZO6? Another big problem I have is that I'm 6'3" and in order to be comfortable in my T/A I had to relocate the seat bracket back 2-3 inches.I'm not sure if I'll be able to do that with a vette because there is no back seat. What do you guys think???

Here is a pic of my car on the track:

After spening nearly 10K modding my T/A, I realize I would have been better off buying a Z06. My car is as quick as a Z06, but doesn't handle or brake as well, and never will. Resale is much better on the Z06 as well.

Put four 17x11'swith 315 Victoracers on the Z06 and go pass a bunch of exitics.

I've driven a fellow club member's Z06 once and rode in it a few times. There is no comparison to the amount of grip they have. That car feels like it's driving on velcro.

If you can get the Z06 and the 2 seater fits your needs go for it. They are unbelievable!

i bought my 93 with 32k miles from the original owner last month. he did all the mods, then finally broke down and bought a Z06.

I know he didnt get his money out of the camaro, and would have been saved a lot of money if he put the $$ into the Z06 in the first place. I think i added less than $2000 for the modifications, and extra set or rims when I decided what to pay him.
