So who do you think will be the first American car company to introduce an AWD sports car to contend with it?

2007!!? That's a ways off...So now the corvette has just replaced the skyline as #1 on my list of most wanted cars...by that time, people will be whispering about C7 rumors.

Ford probably would. They would probably put into production an AWD focus like the rally car.

My guess would be in the $40-$50K range.

THats great news but nothing I'll be able to afford, atleast now with my current lucky streak....

Oh well its a long time off. If I saved a $10 per day I might be able to have a down payment!

Ugh I've loved those cars for soooooo long. I would pick one up if they were in the lowwwwwwwww 40's. By 2007 low 40's for a sports car might be a pretty cheap number.

GM will simply use the Vette to combat the GT-R. No AWD from GM at all. Ford might mess with it, but the real question is what is Toyota going to do about it.

As you've seen before Scubbies dropped the WRX while Mitsu watched and got feed up with it. Now we can enjoy the EVO8. Than Subaru dropped there WRX STI. This love afair is the samething we enjoy with Chevy vs Ford. Nissan and Toyota fight each other like this, and I think it's great.

How do you guess over 100 grand? The cost to import a R34 GTR when they were still being made was $90,000. In country I believe they sold for about the price of a Corvette.

Could the price go up that much?
