Ok, earlier in the year I bought an LT1 Nitrous Express kit from a friend and I used it on my 305 TPI engine. I basically plumed the single nozzle into the MAF sensor behind the heated element. Worked lik a charm...
Now I converted to a Holley 600 Carb and Performer intake. I NEED to spray this combination. http://web.camaross.com/bb/smile.gif Problem lies in the Nitrous jetting, right? The NX kit is for EFI. ALL Nitrous jets should be the same because nitrous pressure is nearly ALWAYS between 700-1200 PSI...no big deal
FUEL PRESURE is what has me thinking. My stock TPI fuel pump is pumping fuel still. It is regulated by a Mallory 3 Port regulator and it sends 6 PSI to my carb.
How would I set up the nitrous kit now? I buy a Carb plate with spray bars in it, right? Then would I need Bigger fuel jets because my pressure is too low?? Would I plumb it before or after the FP regulator?
What is the pressure coming out of the pump if it is on continuously? What is the main line pressure and is it the same at the 6 PSI of pressure coming OU of the regulator to the carb?
Any ideas would be helpful, thanks N2O crew
