spec clutches

i did a search didnt really find the answer i am looking for.i am think about spec stage 1 or 2 clutch wanted opinions.is it worth it
my daul -junk is senterforce is toast after 30.000 daily driven miles.if not spec whats good thought a bought a lt-4 clutch.the guy at my local parts shop say the stage 2 is good for 700hp.my current setup is 386 rwhp

If you are looking to push 700 hp then don't mess with a Star Clutch. I have seen at least 2 Star cluthces fall apart. I would bite the bullet and buy a McLeod Street Twin.

a stage 3 is for UPTO 700 hp but isn't 700hp in our cars kinda a 9-10 second car???

I had spec stage 2, and spec stage 3. They work GREAT. They had a few issue when they first came out. But its all worked out now, i think they are the dam good. I suggest getting a stage 2 spec with their billet flywheel :-D
