Hooker Headers for 3rd gen 2460's.

I have a set of Hooker 2460's that I bought for my Camaro but I will not be using them. They are in good used condition. They have Black paint,It might even be original. It is not burned off.I do not have the attaching Hardware but have a set of gaskets to go with them. These are the 1 5/8 headers with NO AIR TUBES.Would look sweet Jet Hot coated which is what I was going to do but decided not to.Asking price is $100.These headers are not junk.Headers have a O2 Bung but it has not been drilled out.

Thanks
James

they are considered "Shortys" I guess. They would fit on your 92 with no problems. You would have to take the car to a exhaust shop to have some work to mate them up with your Y-pipe. They are not a true bolt on like on the Mustangs with the Ball and socket type fittings. Some fabrication work is required. I had the same ones on my 86 T/A and I loved them. They are clean looking when installed due to not having airtubes on them. I just checked them out again, I believe they have the original paint on them.I can tell that they have been ran but the paint is still there.

Thanks
James

By True bolt on, I meant like on my Mustang when I put shorty headers on that car it was 100% bolt on.The headers mated up to the heads and the factory H-pipe bolted up to the collectors using all of the factory hardware with no other modifications. On the Hookers I am selling, The headers bolt to the heads just like the factory manifolds did.The collectors on the other hand will not directley bolt up to the Camaros factory Y-pipe.You would have to take it to an Exhaust shop to have a set of collectors welded to the factory Y-pipe or have a custom Y-pipe made(Your Choice). Therefore in my opinion it is not a 100% bolt on like on the Mustangs. Pretty much no matter what header you choose for a 3rd gen camaro it is not a 100% bolt on as described above. You will also have to make other modifications.

No, they do not look like those in the picture. That was the right part number, but the wrong picture.Summit usually has a picture of the actual ones I have in their magizine.Yes Modifications to your Y-Pipe should be the only ones you should have to do.

Thanks
