i'm almost positive that it can be, but on edelbrock's website it doesn't look like you can port that high with the ports on the intake. Looks more like its suited for a 1205 and the super for the 1206

thanks for any input

i imagine it can but considering how big that outer manifold flange is.. all it would take is a little port misalignment and you have a leak.

The intake I have on my Track 1s (which are 1206s) is a CNCed vic jr. (not the edelbrock version but an aftermarket CNC job). Its sized for a 1205 and I can see the blue gasket seal on cyls 3 and 1. I made sure there was no overhang on any ports.

Look at the dimensions of the CNC super vicjr..

http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive/...ictor.html#ref

Super Victor CNC #2825 3500-8000 0.96 1.25 1.31 2.21 5.50 0°
Its even slightly narrower than a 1206.

See if you can find a mr gasket 116. Its really inbetween the 1205 and 1206. 1.31x2.19

i'm a little confused by what you said.

do you have a CNC'd victor jr or a CNC'd super victor?

According to edelbrock and the size of my ports on my heads, i need a super victor but many have told me that junior would work fine

this is mine.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1835593031

Its slightly larger than a 2900 but the ports arn't quite the size of a 2825 (CNC super-vic). If you don't areadly have an intake, I would go with a CNC vicjr. Its only about 40bucks more than a vic jr now.

About the same as a supervic jr I think.

I think a 1" spacer on a CNC vic JR would outperform a super-vic.. Or be very close.

Well this intake is going to be converted to an EFI application so no need for a carb spacer

According to edelbrock, the CNC'd victor jr dimensions are 2.07 x 1.26

The intake port dimensions on my track 1s are 2.21 x 1.35 which is similar to the super victor CNC.

Do you think there is enough room to keep porting the CNC'd victor jr to fit my port?

thanks for your help

i think you can probably do it.. but I don't really think it will net much. Since you really can only get into the port by about 2".

If anything I would widen them a little but not raise the roof the entire size.
