i hear that u can use front calipers on the rear (cars equipped w/4 wheel dics) if u change out the lines.....mainly cause i dont have an e-brake hooked up to my 9 inch
anyone done this?? how does it work??

have u tried this method, or know anyone who has.....why no no no? is there a major setback in doing this?

ive been told by a few guys on some boards out there that it will only owrk on 88 model....and will need a proportioning valve to adjust the back brakes from locking up

you have to make room for a larger caliper and the bolt alignment is totally different. I worked in a shop for 5 years and never once saw front calipers that would fit on the rear. you may be able to fab something up but i would be almost positive you will have clearance problems.

i have a 9 inch rear, no emergency brake on the car, and i know the rear brakes are adjusted by the e-brake, i have been told that this works on 88 model only, the pads for F/R are the same part....
what ya think?
