At least that is what the GM dealership sold me and it seems to work. Would I do it again? No. It lowers the rotating mass but not much else. IrocSS85 06-09-2002, 03:01 AM yup, got one on my 86. its the same shaft for 700r4, 4l60E, t56, and I think but not sure is same for t5. it also will not vibrate like the steel ones at high speeds cause its lighter. black84 z28 06-09-2002, 04:33 AM it will work Ucantcme57 06-10-2002, 02:16 PM It will work, but if your putting serious power to the ground, and your hooking up... Expect to blow it out soon! Seen three guys this year alone blow em out, just by spraying stock camaros with drag's.. go with steel, and get it balanced.. $00.02 ------------------ 86 Chevrolet Camaro Iroc Z-28 Fully Loaded With T-Tops Mods; Spohn SubFrame Connectors, S&W Race Car Chassis 8 point Roll Cage, 1997 SS Aniversary 3.42 POSI Rear End with 12" Rotors and 4 Piston PBR Calipers, Balanced Drive shaft...
