Anyone use Yokohama AVS ES100 tires?

I was looking at buying these tires. They are supposed to be sticky, quiet tires that are not too expensive. Does anyone have any opinions on them? How long did they last you?

Thanks
Tom

I've had a set a few months and I like them. They are quiet which was a welcome change from my old Bridgestone RE730's. Can't say much about wear beacuse I haven't had them very long.

Are those tires Z rated? We got a place that sells lots of Yoko's so I might be able to get them cheap.

I have them. I like them a lot. No complaints from me. They grap pretty good and i have about 7,000 miles on them and the wear seems to be great. For the price i don't think there is much that can top these tires.

My tire guy says the Yokos are designed for lighter cars and tend to wear faster than usual on our cars. He recommended either Goodyear F1's or Bridgestone 750's.

I'm running the RE750's with no complaints. They do really well in the rain and from what I have experienced grip damn well too. The F1 tread pattern does look much more badass though. Check out TireRack for ratings and pictures of the tread pattern.

I've used two different sets of Yoko's and loved them both.
