Advice needed....Should i get gears(4:10/3:73), or will i break them??
I have a 97 ss that dynoed 310 rwhp and 325 ft/tq....I also have 17x11inch rims in the back with 315/35/17 nitto DRs in the back...lots-O-traction.....
I have been told that if i get gears sucks as 4.10s or 3.73s the pinoin is much smaller and thus i will break it much easyer.
What do you guys think??? if i got 4.10 would i break them?? i ask cuz i am on a very limited budjet and would nopt be about to replace them if i broke them. thanx

if you drag race you will break the 4.10's if you dont do any drag racing dont worry about it. the 3.73's will be stronger but there is still a chance of breaking it. the only solution is a 12 bolt or hold off on the gears.
