how many tenths would i drop if i used bfg drag radials??? how much with nittos???
im goin with the bfg drag radials for racing purposes only, just wonderin how many tenths would i drop if i got them, and how much would i drop if i got the nittos instead. These tires are for track purposes not street. But then again would i hook better at the street races with the nittos or the bfg drag radials.

Depending on the temperature I would say that DBG drag radials will cut a godd .3 off of your quarter mile times and add a few maybe 2 mph. The nittos should be slightly better but I have never driven with them myself, I used bfg dr on my previous car and they worked well and I am trying to save money to get some for my camaro.

What was your 60's looking like on street tires? If they are 2.2-2.3, then yes, you will see .3 maybe. but if your cutting 2.0s on a stock LS1, it isn't going to get much better with the dr's.
Also, with the BFg, I beleive you LOOSE a MPH or so!
I did. I lost JUST under a MPH with the dr's...consistantly
get them...you'll love them
