The picture is poor. Thanks for the effort. I'm just wanting to see how far the cats are with the LT's.

What do you mean by how far, far from the ground, how far down the piping?

My main concern is how the cats fit in there. Evidently they don't rest in the stock area. Since GM went through all that trouble to put that dent in the passenger floorboard for the cat. I was wondering how well they fit with the LT's. Hate to spend a ton of $$$ for some FLP's and find out that the cats bang the hell out of the floorboard or rattle a ton.

I cant tell you much about banging since Ill be ordering mine monday. Though, all the research I have done is that if you take your time and set it all up nice before you tighten everything down they fit and tuck up under nice.

The cats don't bang or rattle, and they fit in the "hump" on the floor pan.

Yes, that's it pretty much correct. That 'hump' was designed for older LT1 cars, not LS1 cars (so for a stock car is an absolute WASTE of passenger space). GM was to cheap and lazy to eliminate the hump after they relocated the cats closer to the engine block.

However, it works good for those who want to use LTs and cats... without the redundant hump, there would be no where for cats (which s where the FLP cats tuck in). They look good in there, but I don't have a pic of them myself.
