I was looking for a 2001 Z28 to replace mine which was wrecked. I found a 2001 Z28 in Jackson, TN and when I got there, I noticed that it sat MUCH higher than my 2001 did.

My car had GSA tires, this car had GSC tires. Other than that, they looked identical. Automatic, aluminum wheels, T-Tops, yada, yada, yada ....

I didn't think that there were any suspension options between the V8 models unless you got the SS.

My friends and I can't figure this one out, so I promised I would post the question on the board.

I mean, we're talking about a 2" difference in height between the top of the tire and the wheel well opening.

 

i have seen some camaros that ride oddly high right out of the factory and you are correct that you have no "choice" about ride height as is stock. if its really riding that high but the eibach sportlines and drop it down.
