davey 05-28-2002, 12:20 PM Having used Zaino for three years, I decided to try Klass after hearing rave reviews about if from people on this forum.
I have been happy with the results from Zaino, however, I have no personal bias toward one car polish or another. So, I am open to trying a new product if it sounds plausible.
Klass is just as easy to use as Zaino. The polish goes on and comes off very easily.
However, I made the mistake of using too much Klass as there was too much excess residue. Just like Zaino, you need VERY little.
So, the results?
Excellent. The shine is very good. Better than Zaino? At this point, I would say they are about equal. I don't have any before/after pictures, etc. so my call is a bit subjective. But, I don't remember Zaino ever looking better than Klass does on my car. Also, I only have one coat of Klass (I used two coats of All-in-one and one glaze).
There is one positive factor I noticed with Klass - many of the minor swirls and scratches are GONE; something even five coats of Z-5 could never do.
I guess the question now is longevity. Which will last longer? Time will tell. I do believe Klass allows you to add multiple layers and "build" coats, so that will be interesting to see.
foxbat 05-28-2002, 08:14 PM davey,
well stated buddy!!! http://web.camaross.com/bb/biggrin.gif
in my experience, KLASSE does look every bit as good as Zaino and does so in 1/2 the time/effort.
as for longetivity, mine usually goes for a good 6+ months.
also, i HIGHLY recommend you purchase a bottle of high-gloss acrylic spritz called "SONUS" made exclusively to go along with KLASSE that absolutely ROCKS!!
go to: properautocare.com
this stuff is also acrylic and made of the same ingredients as KLASSE. give your car a quick spraydown with it after washing/waxing with KLASSE and the results will positively astound you. it adds an additional boost with even more slipperiness and wetttttnesss to the already fantabulous gloss of KLASSE glaze.

Bluesplyr 05-28-2002, 09:49 PM Hey guys is Klass available at the stores or is it like Zaino where it can only be bought thru the mail?
foxbat 05-28-2002, 11:01 PM blue,
it's a speciality product that's primarily sold through mail order and internet sites. the best website i've used is: http://www.properautocare.com/klasse.html
germany's best..you won't be dissapointed http://web.camaross.com/bb/biggrin.gif http://web.camaross.com/bb/biggrin.gif
if you're gonna buy some, get the companion SONUS acrylic spritz for quik detail jobs and additional slickness and shine between "waxing."

davey 05-28-2002, 11:40 PM foxbat,
I will have to try that sometime. Do you know if Sonus is available in stores or is it something that must be ordered like Klass?
davey 05-28-2002, 11:43 PM foxbat, also,
how many coats have you been able to build with the Klass Gloss? Does it build well?
97BlackT\A 05-29-2002, 05:36 PM Sonus is not available in stores, only by internet/mail order.
You can put on multiple coats of the Glaze and it will layer. The All In One does not layer.
There are local dealers out there, but hard to find.

I got an idea.. maybe the best way to compare Zaino against Klasse is to buy another Black Z28, and do one with Zaino, and one with Klasse. http://web.camaross.com/bb/wink.gif

that's not a bad idea at all!! http://web.camaross.com/bb/biggrin.gif
but seriously though, both KLASSE & ZAINO products are top of the heap. better than any wax out there and results are so close you'd prolly need an electron microscope to tell if there's any difference. durability is about the same as well.
the main reason i prefer KLASSE over Zaino is the simplicity of use, and much less time and hassles are involved.
go ahead and get some..the results will amaze you & you'll never turn back http://web.camaross.com/bb/biggrin.gif
p.s. those germans don't mess around, and they don't call KLASSE "germany's best" for no reason http://web.camaross.com/bb/biggrin.gif
Bluesplyr 05-29-2002, 09:12 PM Fox, so just from reading the website this is a 2 step system correct? looks good do you have any pictures of your car?
2 SC Zs 05-29-2002, 10:47 PM As I've said in other post concerning Klasse, while being unable to compare it to Zaino I have been very happy with the results. Anyhow here are a few shots of my results if they help.

correct: it's a simple 2 bottle system.
i have a few old pics with a non-digital camera that barely do this product any justice, but take a look anyway (more pics with better camera coming soon) :
