Drying car off?blk97z 04-09-2002, 11:53 PM What are you guys using to dry off your car after you wash it. Do chamoise or shamy or however you spell it work well. THanx KevinSS 04-10-2002, 12:15 AM Fieldcrest Charisma bath towels, white in color, edges removed, only washed with liquid detergent (no powder) are probably the safest thing many car owners can use to dry their cars, I also use The Absorber which is a man made chamois. Here is a trick for you, after you have the last of the soap rinsed off, take the sprayer nozzle OFF of the hose and turn the water on a slow steady stream and let it run from the top to bottom all down the sides and so forth on the car, this will create a sheeting effect and wisk away about 95% of the standing water droplets. ------------------ 96 Black Impala SS Authorized Zaino Showcar Polish Distributor www.zainobros.com (http://www.zainobros.com) Remember #3 1999MONGOOSE 04-12-2002, 11:13 AM I use the Absorber and I have also had excellant luck using a good leaf blower. The leaf blower will get all the water out of the nooks & crannies. Then use a good towel or the aborber to finish up.
