Detail Jobs in Bay Area for Swirls?
Black Z28. Got swirls problems with the paint. I've gone to several detail shops and I ask them what they can do to get the swirl marks out. They all says they just wax them. Does anyone know of any details shops in the California Bay Area that actually know what they're talking about and aren't going to simply put some cheap wax on my car which won't do anything for the swirls? I even went to one place that said they'd put this cheap ****ty type of wax which last a year. BS.

I don't know. But I also have a black Z and live in San Francisco. If you find out or anybody knows, let us know. Thanks

There are only 2 ways to get rid of the swirls, use an abrasive and remove some of the clear coat down to the level of the swirls or scratches or use Zaino and gradually fill in the swirls.
I once had a scratch all the way through the clear coat on my 99 SS. I applied Z-5 to it everyday and it gradually filled in the scratch to the point I couldn't find it any more. As long as I owned that car, using Zaino, I never did find that scratch again.
But you also want to ensure against getting new swirls. Look at the towels, etc. that you use and your technique to determine the cause for all the swirls.
