Hmmmm, not too bad actually. Would have a much cleaner look without the altezzas and a more integrated, shorter spoiler. But, I guess the people that would be buying it would want a higher spoiler

Atleast its not a spoiler like on the evo, looks like someone stole a bench from a park.

I see they went back to the 2002 rear facia. Should've done the same for the front.

See, there's nothing wrong with Cavalier's styling. The only problem is a horsepower injection is needed.

Not the 1st time. Look how many people forgot the Caprice was bloated and ugly when Chevy painted it black and molded a different plastic grill.

That Calv reminds me of this Yellow modified 2001 Saturn SC2 coupe http://www.saturnfans.com/photos/sho...t=1&thecat=547

Both of those cars could be made to look good but both never had the perfromance to match and the aftermarket lags for both of those cars.

Hopefully the new Ecotechs should get some attention from the aftermarket.

My first reaction was to say that they are saving that funding to be used on the new Delta car for 2005, rather than investing it in the current, ancient design... then again, they spent money to put fresh fascias on both Sunfire and Cavalier... so maybe that theory goes out the window...

There's nothing wrong with the Cavalier that a complete redesign wouldn't fix...

-There is. The old one was better looking. (Oddly enough, this car's front and rear looks more like the old model than the new. )

Not the 1st time. Look how many people forgot the Caprice was bloated and ugly when Chevy painted it black and molded a different plastic grill.

-They also put some decent wheels on it and got ride of the fender skirts on the rear wheels put on a piece that changed the C-pillar profile. They ended up with a bloated car that was halfway decent looking. All this goes to show is that the difference is in the details, and that a better looking car costs little if any more to make than an ugly one.

Thumbs up GM Sport compacts

Let me first say that when people (much younger people) start talking about 4 cyl. and 6 cyl's. I say u can have them. However being a GM fanatic I have found myself getting excited about this new crop of sport compacts from the General. I have not forgotten about our favorite cars, unfortunately most of the younger gearheads coming up today have for many reasons. Its great to see them finally getting in the game. I actually think they look pretty sweet when they're all hooked up, so do most of the "people" that I show pics of them to. Problem is if I didn't show them the pic most would never cansider them, or see them. GM marketing are u listening, don't make the same mistake twice. Its a nice start but its time to step it up a notch or 2 or 3 or 4 you have to make these things known to the people who would be interested in them. I'm still waiting for some American BadaSS LS6 Z28's n T/A's. The movies work great (Matrix, Bad Boys 2 like the Caddys). They are just Blowing up (CTS, Ecalade). Though they were all over way before the movies , and I've been in love with the CTS since I first seen them. I want a CTSv its a lil too much with all the options , waiting for something else anyway. When they see the Cavaliers all done up they say cool whats that n I tell them n they say NO WAY! I say Yeah Way. Get the word out there and by god give them more POWER. Get some spots on MTV, put them where the kids are gonna see em. Advertise!

I believe making a turboed ecotech, with AWD option and bading it as a 'SS' model would go over extremely well. This provided it'd be under 22,000
