I was looking under the car today b/c i this alignment problem and it is driving me nuts. So i look at the driver side shock/strut/whatever it is and it is kinda mismount to the top part of strut tower? it is about a 1/2 inch off from being mounted right. The pass. side looks normal. The part that it mounts on is kinda bent looking? it is a black piece at the top of the shock that has these flat broad bolt things holding it on. Could this be messing up my alignment?

 

If something is actually bent, then yes, it could affect alignment.
